The FAFSA must be completed annually, starting in October of each year, in order to be considered for grants, some scholarships, federal work study, and student loans. Apply as early as possible.

The application is free, but the minimum processing time is 3 months, and additional paperwork may be required.

After you're accepted to WTC:

• Submit the WTC Financial Aid Worksheet

• Complete any requested verification documents

• Submit tax transcripts (if requested)

• Complete scholarship applications

If you are selected for verification, you will be notified by email or letter. The notice will indicate which form(s) need(s) to be completed; once the appropriate Verification Form is completed, return it to the Financial Aid Office.

Once your file is complete:

1. Review your award letter

2. Accept or decline your awards

3. Complete loan requirements (if borrowing)
