Western Texas College plans to honor student achievements at the 2026 Western Texas College Student Awards Ceremony. The event takes place at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, April 24. Sponsored by the WTC Association, the ceremony will take place on the walkway in front of the Scurry County Museum. Friends, family, students, faculty, staff, and the public are all welcome at this event. The Museum hosts a reception immediately following the ceremony.
“After COVID, we stopped holding the ceremony and thought it was time to bring it back,” said Patrick Schneider, Assistant Professor of Art and WTC Association President.
”It's important for the College to recognize how hard our students work and their achievements.”
