Before you head out for the break, Western Texas College wants to make sure your vehicle is road-ready.

WTC Security and campus volunteers will host a FREE Student Vehicle Safety Check on Wednesday, December 10, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM in the parking lot beside the Softball Field. The goal is simple: help students travel home safely and avoid preventable car trouble.

During the check, the team will take a quick look at:

  • wiper fluid

  • oil levels

  • tire pressure

Students can grab snacks and bottled water for the drive, and gift cards for oil will be available if your vehicle needs it.

These safety checks have made a real difference. In previous semesters, volunteers discovered cars with no oil, low oil levels, and underinflated tires, issues that can easily lead to breakdowns or expensive repairs. A few minutes at the event can help students avoid a major headache.

Make sure your trip starts on the right foot—and with a dependable car. Stop by anytime during the event window for your free safety check.
