Think your dorm door has what it takes to scare, spook, or impress the whole campus? Western Texas College Housing is hosting the Halloween Dorm Door Decoration Contest, and it’s your chance to turn a plain door into a haunted masterpiece.

From cobweb-covered classics to creepy creative twists, your design could make you the talk of Glover or Clinton Dorm this Halloween season. Just remember—your door still has to open and close (sorry, no full-on haunted house builds).

How to Enter

  1. Pick up an entry form in the Housing Office at Glover Dorm.

  2. Turn it in by 12:00 PM on October 31, 2025—no late entries accepted!

  3. Decorate your door by Halloween night and keep it up through November 3.

Rules at a Glance

  • Must be a WTC dorm resident.

  • Theme: Halloween! (funny, spooky, or stylish—it’s up to you).

  • Keep it clean and appropriate.

  • Use only adhesives—no nails, screws, or damage.

  • Remove decorations by 6:00 PM on November 3

It’s more than just a contest—it’s bragging rights. Your hallmates, RAs, and friends will see your creativity every day. Plus, it’s the perfect way to get in the Halloween spirit without even leaving your dorm.

So grab your fake cobwebs, googly eyes, and maybe even a fog machine (if it fits). Let’s see who can make the creepiest, funniest, or most over-the-top Halloween door on campus.
