Dear WTC Family,

After much reflection and with a deep sense of gratitude for the time I have spent here, I am writing to share with you that I have made the decision to retire from my position as President of WTC, effective January 2, 2026.

By sharing this news now, my hope is to allow ample time for a smooth and thoughtful leadership transition.

Please know this was not an easy decision. Serving as president of this remarkable institution has been one of the greatest honors of my career. I am incredibly proud of what we have accomplished together, and I am deeply grateful for your dedication, creativity, and heart. It is truly all of you - our faculty, our staff, and our students - that make our WTC family so special. It has truly been my privilege to be a part of it!

This afternoon I shared my decision with the Board of Trustees and Administration to begin the formal process of planning for the transition. I am committed to making this time as impactful as our past thirteen years together, and I will do everything I can to support our WTC family in the months ahead.

Thank you for your friendship, your trust, and your unwavering commitment to our students. I am excited to see the next chapter of this college unfold as we continue to celebrate what makes WTC such a special place!

With Heartfelt Appreciation,

Barb
