Vernon King Jr., founder of the Motivating Youth Company and local leader at Grace Fellowship, will bring his message, "Doin' BIG Things," to campus at 6:00 p.m. on April 21, 2025, in the Fine Arts Theatre.
This event is for students, faculty, and staff.
If you're into real talk, personal growth, or just want to hear from someone who's been making an impact, this is an event you won’t want to miss.
With sixteen years of experience working with teens, young adults, and families, Vernon wears many hats: youth pastor, counselor, author, and speaker. He’s earned a master's degree in child and adolescent psychology from Fort Hays State University and is wrapping up his doctorate in educational psychology and technology.
Most recently, King co-wrote The Intimacy and Sex Conversation in partnership with Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN), a resource for parents navigating tough topics with their kids. Oh, and fun fact? He’s also the dad of viral social media star Harlyn King.
Show up and you’ll get motivated—because Vernon’s not just talking, he’s doing BIG things.
