Western Texas College wants students to get home safe! 

If you’re planning to make the trip home in your vehicle, bring it by the Student Vehicle Safety Check. It’s FREE for WTC students!

WTC Security and volunteers will be checking vehicles on Wednesday, May 1, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the parking lot next to the Softball Field.

We'll check your vehicle’s:

• wiper fluid level

• oil level

• and tire pressure.

We also have tasty snacks and bottled water for the trip home! If you need oil, we have giftcards for you!

At past checks, WTC Volunteers have discovered that some students’ vehicles had no oil and low tire pressure. No oil or a low oil level can cause severe engine problems and low tire pressure may lead to a flat tire.

Don’t get stuck on the side of the road—start your trip home right. Get your vehicle checked.
