❄️WTC Weather UPDATE ❄️
DELAYED OPENING: CLASSES RESUME AND OFFICES OPEN WEDNESDAY AT 10:00 AM
Due to limited thawing during the day and continued drops in evening temperatures, classes will resume, and physical offices will open at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, January 28. Students, please check Brightspace for more information about your classes.

Please be aware that snow and ice have accumulated in campus parking lots and across campus grounds. If you are on campus, exercise extreme caution when walking and avoid icy areas whenever possible. Walking in softer snow may provide improved traction.

We strongly encourage wearing footwear with good traction and allowing additional time to travel safely. Everyone’s safety is our top priority.

Please continue to monitor your WTC email for any updates or changes regarding operations.

❄️WTC Alert - Winter Weather UPDATE❄️
CAMPUS CLOSED TUESDAY, JANUARY 27
Out of concern for the safety of our students and employees, all classes are canceled, and all college offices will be closed on Tuesday, January 27. While the main roads leading to campus may be passable, the accumulation of snow and ice in campus parking lots and throughout the grounds creates hazardous conditions. Looking ahead, a normal start for classes and work is planned for Wednesday, January 28. As you prepare to return to campus, please consider wearing shoes with good traction and allow yourself plenty of time to travel safely. Please continue to check your WTC email for any updates or changes regarding Wednesday operations. Thank you for your continued patience and cooperation. Please stay safe and warm.

College officials will continue to communicate closely with the Snyder/Scurry County Office of Emergency Management and will actively monitor the weather and road conditions. If conditions remain a concern, an additional alert will be sent on Monday regarding a delayed start or possible cancellation of classes for Tuesday.
