The Western Texas College Student Government Association invites WTC students to attend a Student Town Hall on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at 5:00 PM in the Fine Arts Theater (Building 19).

The event will be hosted by the Student Government Association (SGA) and will feature College President Dr. Laurie Sharp, who will share key themes that emerged from her recent Listening Tour across campus and throughout the community. She will also discuss how those insights are helping shape WTC’s developing strategic plan and planned organizational updates.

The Town Hall is designed to help students see how their voices are influencing the college’s direction and better understand the “why” behind upcoming changes. By connecting Listening Tour feedback directly to strategic planning efforts, college leadership aims to ensure transparency and student-centered decision-making.

Following Dr. Sharp’s comments, students will have the opportunity to ask questions, offer feedback, and engage in open conversation.
