The Student Government Association (SGA) is looking for next year’s student leaders—and that could be YOU!
If you’re currently a freshman and planning to return as a sophomore this fall, this is your chance to shape student life, gain leadership experience, and make your voice heard. The SGA is opening up several positions for the 2025–2026 academic year, and they want passionate, motivated students to run for:
President
Vice President
Treasurer
Secretary
Historian
Parliamentarian
Student Senators (4 spots available!).
The roles are more than just titles. They’re opportunities to plan events, influence decisions, and be the go-to voice for your fellow students. If you’ve ever wanted to bring new ideas to campus, help create an awesome student experience, or simply build your resume with real-world leadership skills, now’s the time.
If you’re even thinking about running, reach out to current SGA President Yessenia Ruiz at yessenia.ruiz@student.wtc.edu to get the scoop on how to apply and what to expect.
Don’t miss your chance to lead, inspire, and be part of something bigger at WTC. Let’s make next year unforgettable.
