CERTIFICATE OFFERED

The Golf Course and Sports Field Turf Management Program is a one-year certificate designed to prepare students for careers in the turf industry.

The one-year certificate requires students to complete 25 hours of turf-related coursework.

JOB OUTLOOK

Turf managers are expected to have excellent job prospects. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor, employment is projected to grow 10% through 2029, which is much faster than the average for all occupations.

GAINFUL EMPLOYMENT INFORMATION

PROOF OF HEALTH INSURANCE

Health insurance is required of all students entering the program.

ALCOHOL/DRUG TESTING

As part of WTC's Alcohol/Drug policy, random, reasonable cause, and post-accident drug and alcohol tests are performed on students during their time in the program.
