Get hands-on training in some of the most complex and high-demand professions with Western Texas College’s Career and Technical programs. WTC offers nine technical program areas that prepare you for careers in business and computer-based technology, the industrial sector, and the professional services industry.

WTC’s Career and Technical Programs also offer certificates in each area of study, which can lead directly to employment. Certificate programs consist of specialty courses in the program area and typically take just one year to achieve.

Students who successfully complete an approved curriculum for career and technical programs can earn an Associate of Applied Science Degree. The Associate of Applied Science Degree takes about 2 years to complete.
