
Technology Department
WTC Technology provides technical support for Western Texas College. Working closely with many divisions and departments on and off-campus, Technology provides support to students, faculty, staff, and administration.
WTC Technology manages the information systems that support the core business processes of the college. These systems include student information, financial aid, human resources, facilities, instruction, library/reference, and many other systems.

- Offices for WTC Technology are located in the Learning Resource Center (Building 2).
- WTC Technology cannot provide repair or maintenance services for any personal computers, laptops, handhelds or networking devices that are not owned and operated by WTC.
Note: Service is not provided 24/7. Service is provided during staffed hours, the IT Department follows the campus holiday schedule.

Access Grammarly:
Grammarly is a cloud-based writing assistant application that checks spelling, grammar, punctuation, clarity, and tone. Using artificial intelligence, it identifies, searches, and suggests replacements for the errors it locates. Western Texas College students and employees may access Grammarly using their WTC email accounts.
Navigate to the Grammarly website for Enterprise and log in using your WTC credentials (@student.wtc.edu or @wtc.edu). If you already have a Grammarly account, follow the instructions above to be upgraded.
