We encourage citizens to provide our department input regarding the services we provide. More importantly, we want them to feel confident that they will receive professional customer service from each department member.
The Security Department maintains monthly and annual crime statistics as mandated by The Clery Act. All rules and regulations are clearly discussed and presented in written form to the students. Disciplinary issues are handled with fairness, enhancing the personal guidance and social growth function of the institutional mission. We are pleased to boast an admirable record of peace and safety for our campus environment.
The OPE Campus Security Statistics Website is brought to you by the Office of Postsecondary Education of the U.S. Department of Education. It was authorized by Congress with the 1998 amendment to the Higher Education Act of 1965 (HEA) to help potential college students and their parents research criminal offenses on college campuses. The Department of Education is committed to assisting schools in providing students with a safe environment in which to learn and to keeping parents and students well-informed about campus security.
We pledge our commitment to providing the highest level of security services that all citizens deserve.
