Western Texas College Donates to Scurry County United Way

Western Texas College donated over $4,000 to the Scurry County United Way. The funds were presented at a ceremony on Tuesday by WTC president, Dr. Barbara Beebe. Accepting the donation was Scurry County United Way President, Kellye Starnes and Rachael McClain, Secretary of the Scurry County United Way Board of Directors.
Funds were raised through the Western Texas College Employee Giving Campaign and proceeds from the WTC Fall Festival held on October 23.
Agencies funded through the Scurry County Way include Snyder Child Day Care Center, Scurry County Food Cupboard, Gateway Family Services, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, West Texas Children's Advocacy Center, Snyder Volunteer Fire Department, Cancer Services Network.
