SNYDER— Western Texas College will hold an in-person commencement ceremony for the graduating class of 2021. The ceremony is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on May 4, 2021, at the WTC Coliseum, 900 East Coliseum Drive in Snyder.

“We’re very excited to honor our students with an in-person ceremony this year,” said Ralph Ramon, Vice-President and Dean of Student Services.

Graduates are welcome to invite family and friends to this year’s ceremony. Guest seating is located on the upper levels of the venue. Handicap access is available. Western Texas College (WTC) strongly encourages guests attending the ceremony to wear a mask and social distance when possible.

The floor area of the WTC Coliseum where the ceremony will take place is reserved for graduates, faculty, and event staff only. All persons on the floor are required to wear masks. Graduates may remove their masks to walk the stage. WTC respectfully asks that guests not enter the floor before, during, or after the ceremony.

For those not able to attend the ceremony, the event will be live-streamed on WTC’s YouTube channel.

Several students will take part in the ceremony. The students include Clement Catteau, Nakiya Oleru, Brooke Rauch, and Jordan Shifflett.

“Commencement is one of my favorite events of the year,” said Dr. Barb Beebe, College President. “It’s an honor for me to congratulate our students on their accomplishments.”
