Western Texas College Photos of Quanah Parker Dedication
Western Texas College greatly appreciates everyone who attended the Quanah Parker Dedication Ceremony.
The ceremony took place at 2 p.m. on Thursday, November 16, 2017. The College held the ceremony in front of the sculpture near the WTC flagpoles.
Special guests included Mark McLaughlin, Evelyn McLaughlin Davies, Dr. Mike Dreith, Dr. Holle Humphries, Drew Bullard, artist Terry Gilbreth, and Bruce Parker as well as members of the Parker family.
Bruce Parker and members of the Parker family offered a Comanche blessing at the end of the ceremony.
Western Texas College acknowledges and thanks the Diamond M Foundation for making it possible for “Quanah Parker” by Terry Gilbreth to stand on the Western Texas campus.
