The Western Texas women soccer team is excited about this year.   We are looking to build upon the base of success from previous years while trying to reload for another season.  The focus has been recruiting more Texas players and hopefully filling some major holes left from graduating players.  Several key players have moved on to 4 year schools and even professional but we do have a large number of returning players from last year’s team who are ready to step up and take the challenge.  Returning also returning our assistant coaches from last year, Angela Long (4th year) and Jonathon Garza (2nd year), along with a new assist, Aaron Babcock to help with keepers.  The women’s team will be striving to be successful on the field and in the classroom again this year and hopefully hit the national rankings.
