2011-2012 Team
The 2011 Lady Westerners have a tough task of replacing a two-time All-Conference and 2009 All-American runner in Jessica Rodriguez. However this year’s team is up to the challenge. The Ladies will be led by All-Americans Abigail Gonzalez and Sharlene Nickle. Who are both coming off impressive 2010 track seasons where Abigail finished 4th in the 5000 meters and Sharlene finished 2nd in the 1500 meters at NJCAA National track meet. Helping these two young ladies try to improve on last year’s teams 3rd place finish in the Regional meet will be Ashley Rhodes, Jennifer Washington, Maricela Castillo, and Danessa Vasquez.
