  1. Basic Course Information
    1. Designing and publishing Web documents according to World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) standards. Emphasis on optimization of graphics and images and exploration of the tools available for creating and editing Web documents.
    2. Any required prerequisites: None.
  2. Student Learning Outcomes
    1. Develop Web pages using industry standard software; develop and manage a website; and identify how the Internet functions with specific attention to the World Wide Web and file transfer. Grading will be assessed with a rubric.
  3. Major Course Requirements
    1. Requirement: There will be a mid-term and final exam.
    2. Web Project: Building entire web site.

    2. Software: Must purchase or have access to Dreamweaver CS4.
