  1. Basic Course Information:
    1. Course Description:  Examination of federal, state and local laws and regulations governing the control of horticultural pests.  Topics include procedures; methods; safety requirements; integrated pest management (IPM); and chemical, natural and biological controls.
    2. Any required prerequisites:  None
  2. Student Learning Outcomes
    1. Define pest control terminology; explain and demonstrate knowledge of federal, state and local laws and regulations; and recommend pest control methods and procedures.

    1.  Major Requirement 1  --  There will be weekly tests given for 33 1/3 % of the grade.
    2. Major Requirement 2  --  33 1/3 % of the grade is work done in lab  --  33 1/3 % of the grade from notes taken in class

  Practical applications of material learned in class will be observed each day during the lab studies in the greenhouse.
