Greenhouse Crop Production

    1. In-depth coverage of the production of crops within the controlled environment of greenhouse.  Topics include growing techniques, environmental control, crop rotation, scheduling, preparation for sale, and marketing.
    2. Any required prerequisites: none
  2. Student Learning Outcomes: Produce a crop within a greenhouse; explain various cultural requirements for greenhouse crops; and demonstrate knowledge in the various methods of modifying crop growth and development.

      1. Students will arrive for class on time.
      2. Students will not leave the classroom without permission.
      3. Sleeping in class is not permitted.
      4. Eating, horseplay and profanity are not permitted. Students must be neatly groomed and properly dressed.
      5. Cheating on any schoolwork or test is not permitted.
      6. Students must do all their assigned class work and take all required tests.
      7. Students are not permitted to bring personal property to the school.
      8. Excessive noise and other disruptive behaviors are not appropriate.
      9. Students shall not steal damage or destroy school property.
      10. Student must follow all school rules, unit rules and TDCJ-JD rules.

    VIOLATION OF THESE RULES MAY RESULT IN DISCIPLINARY ACTION AND/OR REMOVAL FROM SCHOOL
