HEAD VOLLEYBALL COACH

Western Texas College is accepting applications for the position of head volleyball coach. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: operation of the program in accordance with the policies and procedures of Western Texas College, the WTC athletic department, the WJCAC, and the NJCAA (Division I). Duties also include the following: recruiting, budget development and fiscal management, practice planning, on-court coaching, scheduling, team travel, supervision of assistant coach, fund raising, and monitoring student athlete academic progress.

Candidates must have a strong commitment to academic and athletic success, with a demonstrated ability to identify and recruit student-athletes, a proven record of outstanding leadership, and strong organizational skills.

Salary: According to college scale
Department: Athletics
Supervisor: The Director of Athletics

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree required; preference given to candidates with a master’s degree
Proven ability to recruit and retain student athletes at the collegiate level
Minimum of three years experience coaching intercollegiate athletics preferred
CDL license desired
