PROJECT DIRECTOR, TITLE V C0-OP GRANT
Responsibilities
- Communicate grant objectives and maintain open communication with college constituents
- Update and redistribute Title V project manual to staff at both colleges as needed
- Oversee and monitor project fiscal and technical reports for WTC and TSTC
- Prepare and submit annual performance reports
- Authorize all expenditures and maintain budget control to ensure appropriate utilization of funds
- Ensure all external contract arrangements are operating and executed according to schedule and policy
- Directly supervise Activity Director (WTC) and Activity Coordinator (TSTC)
- Work with WTC and TSTC staff to institutionalize new practices and improvements according to pre-established schedule
- Work with Independent Evaluator to facilitate and execute annual independent evaluation
- Communicate with Dean and Chief Financial Officer regularly
Qualifications
- Masters degree required
- Minimum one year experience with direct program and budget management of publicly-funded grant program
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work as a team member
- At least two years administrative experience in higher education
- Experience in program evaluation and technical education curriculum development
- Knowledge and experience in distance education
Start Date: March 29, 2010 or as soon as available
Note: This position expires at the end of the grant period, September 30, 2012, with an extension to allow for preparation of the final grant performance report.
