Petroleum Technology Curriculum Specialist (STEM Grant)
Areas of Responsibility:
- Design and develop competency-based program curriculum
- Prepare syllabi and course outlines
- Pilot instruction, including lecture and lab
- Evaluate pilot results and revise curriculum accordingly
- Develop/coordinate lab prep required for courses
- Prepare materials to inform WTC community about new program objectives, requirements, and employment opportunities
- Support effective student advisement about participation in the new academic program
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree
- Minimum three years experience in the Petroleum Technology field
- Minimum three years experience instructional experience
- Demonstrated experience with curriculum development
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Position Opens: October 1, 2011 (open until filled)
Position Duration: 3 years (through September, 2014); position is retained after grant funding ends.
