The Sammy Baugh Golf Course and Pro Shop are located on the campus of Western Texas College in Snyder, Texas. The course is 9 holes with driving range distances from 300-350 yards and is ranked #9 in the state for the best 9 hole courses by The Dallas Morning News. 
The course is maintained by instructors and students of the Golf Course & Landscape Technology Program, a nationally-recognized Career and Technical Program at WTC.
The Men's Golf Association begins play in April and continues through September, playing weekly on Monday evenings at 6:00pm. WTC Golf teams practice daily. Snyder High School's golf teams practice on the course 2-3 days per week in the fall and spring; and Snyder Jr. High and Ira High Schools practice 2-3 days per week in the spring.
The following tournaments are held annually:
- Kiwanis - 2nd weekend in August
- Gateway Family Services - 2nd weekend in April
- Snyder High School District Match
- Slingin' Sammy Baugh Tournament
- WTC Jr. Championship - August
- City Championship - October
Driving range and practice greens are available and equipment is for sale and rent.
Restrooms are located on the course and in the Pro Shop.
Vending machines are located on the course and in the Pro Shop. Drinks and microwaveable sandwiches are available for purchase.
The course is open daily - 7:30 a.m. - dusk
