General Registration Information

  • A student may register either online or in person.
  • In addition to a completed Application for Admission, copies of driver's license and social security card must be furnished.
  • For new students, test scores must be furnished. Accepted tests are THEA, ACT, SAT, COMPASS, or ASSET. The THEA requirement may be met by providing acceptable TASP scores and/or a high school transcript. Students who do not have test scores may register for on-campus testing through the Counseling office.
  • A high school transcript or GED certificate or college transcript is required. An official transcript must be received directly from the issuing institution.

Early Admissions & Dual Credit Enrollment

The Early Admissions Program allows qualified high school students to enroll for college credit while still in high school.  Permission of the parent/guardian and high school principal is required.  Students must have completed their sophomore year and passed all sections of the TAKS.

Early Admissions permission forms are available from the high school principal or counselor or from either the WTC Distance Learning office or Student Services office.  Early Admissions forms must be completed and presented at the time of registration.

Students may change their class schedule by contacting the Distance Learning office or the WTC Counseling Center.

Textbooks are available through the college bookstore, either online or on the main campus. The bookstore has a list of required textbooks for each course. Phone 325-574-7601 or shop online at wtcbookstore.com.
