Trint Palmer is in his second year as Head Athletic Trainer at Western Texas College.
Palmer is a Licensed Athletic Trainer (LAT) by the Texas Department of State Health Services and is also a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) by the Athletic Training Board of Certification (BOC).
Prior to his employment at WTC, Trint served as an Assistant Athletic Trainer at Angelo State University where he worked primarily with the football, baseball, basketball, softball, and soccer programs. In addition, he served as a lecturer in Angelo State University’s Athletic Training Education Program.
Palmer began his athletic training experience at Tarleton State University serving as an Athletic Training Student and then as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer. While at TSU, Trint obtained his Masters Degree (M.Ed.) in Education and his Bachelors Degree (B.S.) in Physical Education with an emphasis in Athletic Training, as well as worked with a variety of NCAA sports.
Palmer is a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA), Southwestern Athletic Trainers Association (SWATA), and the Texas State Athletic Trainers Association (TSATA). In addition to his duties as Head Athletic Trainer at WTC, Trint will assume the responsibilities of teaching Athletic Training classes, so that students may go on and pursue a profession in Athletic Training.
Trint Palmer and his wife Amber reside in Robert Lee, Texas with their three children, Rachel (11), Lane (3) and Aidyn (1).
